Secret Circus tries very hard to make everything they do an exciting, unique and generally AWESOME experience... Live shows, Studio recordings, or music video production, they always aim for greatness!

The genre is Alternative Rock, heavily influenced by Classic Rock, Blues and Gypsy. Fans have described the sound as: "Soft and hard, slow and fast, -all at the same time", "Seductive, subtle and gentle, but with the edge of a razor", "New and exciting with a flare of vintage"... That's the Secret Circus petented recipé: "To draw inspiration from multiple and separate sources to create sounds and vibes bigger than just the sum of the ingedients".

History

Secret Circus was started by twins Klas and Joel Åhman in 2008 in Stockholm, Sweden. The maiden voyage sent the brothers bumming around Europe, playing their way from town to town. They immediately discovered that music was their calling and decided to give music their all. They quit their jobs and spent the following year writing and recording their debut album "This is Secret Circus".

Since the start Secret Circus has toured Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and The Netherlands.

Future

Secret Circus is still unsigned and independent, but they are very driven and ambitious and are working hard to be "the most ill-kept secret EVER"!

Though live shows and studio recordings often involve many people, the core and foundation of Secret Circus is:

Klas and Joel Åhman
-The twins

The twins take turn playing lead guitar, singing lead vocals and backing up with riffs and harmonies. Oddly enough Klas lives in New Mexico, thousands of miles from the rest of the members in Stockholm Sweden. But Secret Circus manage to use that to their advantage. Constantly traveling back and forth to eachother the twins are together more than appart. They have their studio in New Mexico, but Rock live shows on both sides of the Atlantic.

Martin Sternelius
-Bass

The cousing of Klas and Joel, Martin Sternelius is the perfect bass player. Always steady and tight, his playing fits perfectly into the mix and sparkles with brilliant little fills. His personality mirrors his playing style: Steady, reliable, and brilliant.
